History of Perrinpit

Albert Edgar Weaver moved from the South of Bristol, to Perrinpit in 1939.
When Edgar (as he was known) moved to the farm it was mostly grassland so the main enterprise was a dairy herd. At one time we milked at four farms before amalgamating them all at Perrinpit in 1973. We had a herd of Holstein x Fresians which were wonderful dairy cows, producing lots of lovely milk. Unfortunately, due to poor milk returns and the threat of Foot and Mouth disease we decided to sell the herd in 2002.
Suffolk Sheep
The Suffolk flock started in 1951 and has been prominant in the pedigree circuit ever since.
